Communities in Schools of Pittsburgh — Allegheny County (CISPAC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to surround students of the greater Pittsburgh region with a community of support empowering them to achieve in school and succeed in life. CISPAC works side by side with schools as analysts, developers, facilitators, managers and trainers. Their work results in improved student outcomes, increased parental and community engagement, active and coordinated resource providers, an infrastructure for maintaining high student outcomes and, the fulfillment of the community vision for student success – empowering every student to be given a genuine opportunity to achieve academically.
